Britain as their Doctor Who "expert"!
*** WORLD EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS ***
There have been three interviews exclusively to the clubs newsletter "The
Collector" - Graham Cole (April), India Fisher, who I met when the play she
was touring in arrived at the theatre where I work (May) and ex-Page 3 Girl
Linda Lusardi, who appeared in BBV's "The Zero Imperative" (June -
with an AMAZING signed photo!). Sadly there are no copies of these issues left.
On Sunday 10th March I went to the Memorabilia event at Birmingham's NEC and had
a great day. Met Sylvester McCoy, Yee Jee Tso (really nice guy), Shane Rimmer
and the lovely Caroline Munro. Got some nice autographs from all these and
Sylvester, Yee and Caroline all signed my programme which I will be donating to
the charity auction.
Autographica in May was fun but the only Doctor Who related guests there were
Paul Darrow ("Timelash") and Shane Rimmer ("The
Gunfighters").
In June myself and fellow club member John Ashworth travelled to Blackpool to
see Mary Tamm in the play "When We Are Married". Mary had already
agreed to meet us after the play and she was a joy to meet. She signed a load of
stuff for us including books, photos and our programmes. Hopefully there may be
other visits to plays in the coming months.
