     Season One through S/D-Colored Glasses SYNOPSIS: Sam and Daniel meet. Sam suddenly wants to be recognized for her intellectual, rather than military, rank: Doctor Jackson, I presume? I'm Doctor Samantha Carter. Sam and Daniel bond: I knew I'd like you. Soon after meeting, they're already zoning everyone else out in their discussions. After being imprisoned by the Goa'uld, Sam cares for Daniel as he recovers from being knocked out. On Chulak, Sam grabs Daniel and pulls him out of harms way not once but twice. After escape from the Goa'uld, Daniel searches for the coordinates to get back home, and Sam jumps on his back for encouragement. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Their second assignment together, and already they're finishing each other's sentences: Telephone. I like that. Sam expresses concern over Daniel's lack of sleep, and convinces him to take a break: "You can't stay awake forever." "I can try. [sigh] No, you're right. I'll meet you at the next briefing." HURT/COMFORT: Captain Carter's gonna be alright. I was just going to check on her, actually. He even blows her a kiss before leaving the tent. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Forced to leave a new planet prematurely, Sam & Daniel exchange a look of frustration (possibly their first, but definitely not their last) over their Colonel. Sam expresses an interest in anthropology, and sides with Daniel in the science vs. military battle. Daniel takes a beating for his interest in Sam: What do you mean why? Because I care about her! ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: The pair share a dinner by the fire (the food, however, leaves something to be desired). Later, Daniel expresses interest in Sam's taste in men. Well, what did you see in him? ~PHOTO GALLERY~~ SYNOPSIS: Sam & Daniel work closely - very closely - to unlock the secrets of an alien crystal. They even break the rules together. "You received permission for me to fire my staff weapon in the Gate room?" "Oh yeah." "Absolutely." ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Though his intentions may be innocent, Daniel gets a little hands-y with Sam while assessing her injuries. Later, while fighting Apophis for the second time, Daniel kills a guard, saving Sam's life. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Sam & Daniel bring new life into the world. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: When Jack and Teal'c disappear, Sam and Daniel are left to find them on their own. ~PHOTO GALLERY~   SYNOPSIS: Sam and Daniel pair up to capture a Goa'uld larva. When under fire, Sam shields Daniel. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Sam struggles with her emotions when she thinks Daniel's dead, and again when she realizes they left him alone. Oh my god, sir, we left him behind. We left him behind! ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: When a female Goa'uld posing as the goddess Hathor intoxicates the men of the SGC and chooses Daniel for her mate, Sam grabs the big guns and takes charge. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ Daniel shows his Daniel is there for Sam as she struggles with feelings of anger and helplessness. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ SYNOPSIS: Sam voices her convidence in Daniel's persuasive skills. Wouldn't Daniel be better at it? I mean, being a linguist and a cultural expert? ..Sir. ~PHOTO GALLERY~ Daniel bursts in on Sam as she gets cozy with the Tollan Narim, and then does his best to get the Tollans off of Earth. Narim to Sam: And then I learned from Dr. Jackson that you're also a brilliant scientist.~PHOTO GALLERY~Daniel fights to uncover Sam's whereabouts. 1x18 TIN MAN  Sam and Daniel prepare to spend eternity together (or at least 11,000 years).
