Background: Luna is a witch who attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is a member of Ravenclaw House. Her father is the editor of a magazine called The Quibbler, and her mother died when she was nine.
Luna is shunned and ridiculed by her peers for her strange habits and opinions – she wears radishes as jewellery and believes in all sorts of strange creatures and conspiracy theories. However, she doesn’t seem to mind her isolation and goes through life barely seeming to pay attention to the people around her.
In her fourth year at Hogwarts, Luna joined the D.A and became a supporter of Harry Potter and his friends. She proved herself to be extremely loyal and brave, as well as no slouch at defensive spells.
