Although Gabrielle’s prowess in combat can never match Xena’s, her fast-talking and creative thinking make her a powerful ally, and she learns to hold her own in battle.
Gabrielle was the Queen of an Amazon tribe for a while, and was once also a followed of the prophet Eli and his Way of Peace, a pacifist path which she abandoned in order to save Xena.
Gabrielle had a daughter named Hope.
