to be a witch, but it was never going to work out, so Granny
Weatherwax
brought her to Unseen University to hassle the hidebound mages into
accepting Esk as a student. Not that it was easy. But after many
adventures
and Esk having a lot to do with saving the world, UU relented.
However,
we may never know what became of Esk, as she was last seen
discovering
new realms of quantum magic with her friend and wizardly colleague
Simon...and despite all the flowery words, no other girl has yet been
admitted to read for a degree in thaumaturgy.
