Background: Officer Aeryn Sun, Pleizar Regiment, Icarian Division, was a PeaceKeeper, a soldier of the Sebacean military, until John Crichton and the escaped prisoners of Moya changed her life and forced her to live as an exile with them. She is serious and sometimes cold, raised to repress emotion and form no personal bonds with anyone. Time with the crew of Moya has broken through that training, however, especially where John is concerned. Her growing love for him and friendships with the crew brought out the ‘Human’ side of the woman and helped her blend of her two lives: the strength, loyalty, and selflessness of the soldier coupled with the compassion, love, and humor of the woman. She faces death and danger every day, but her hardest challenge is her rocky relationship with John. Through all the challenges, her love for him is unbreakable and she carries his child and his engagement ring.
