The Messiah's primary function is sole diplomatic missions. During the 
Dominion Wars, most Diplomatic cruisers were slow and easy targets for 
Jem"hardar wolfpacks. The Messiah design solves some of the problems 
faced. 
!st of all, she's one of the fastest vessesl in Starfleet, with a 
cruising 
speed of Warp 7.95. Her sleek design makes her hard to hit, and more 
maneuvarable than larger Galaxy class vessels. And she is better armed 
and 
shielded than the current diplomatic transports in the fleet. Currently 
there are 3 Messiahs in the fleet.  The 1st two, being the Messiah 
(NX-82200) and Sam T.K.H. (NCC-82802) are standard models, the 3rd, 
U.s.s. 
Anthea (NCC- 82211) is a class B sub variant. It features a large 
observation lounge and garden seated on top of ship. Its also has 
greatly 
improved Diplomatic facilities. It is currently intended to construct 2 
more 
ships in this class, and perhaps after furthur testings, would more 
Messiahs 
be built.

NOTE: In truth, these ships were named after my friends Sam and Anthea 
here 
in Singapore. They have been great friends in my life, thus I would 
like to 
do something special for them. Something like THIS!! Hope u guys see 
this.... Mal
