“Brennan!” The sounds of Brennan’s metal framed bed hitting the wall made Jesse cringe.
“Ugh! It’s that time again.”
“You know they can’t help it, Jess.”
“I know but it’s like listening to my sister have sex with best friend. It’s wrong. So very, very wrong.”
“Well, just be glad it’s behind closed doors.”
“That’s not much comfort when we can hear everything through the walls!”
“Fuck, Shal!”
“That’s it, I’m going to help Adam in the lab.” Jesse picked up his plate and deposited it in the sink. He took one last gulp from his cup before placing next to the plate. Emma smiled as he all but ran from the kitchen.
“Oh god, oh god, oh my fuckin god!” Emma spewed coffee across the table. Joining Jesse and Adam in the lab seemed like a great idea.

Brennan dropped himself onto the bed, Shalimar’s leg draped across his hips.
“Brennan…” Shalimar purred.
“Again?” He asked incredulously. He always forgot how insatiable Shalimar’s sexual appetite was when she was in heat. The many welts across his chest and back should serve as permanent reminders but somehow his mind just blocked them out.
“Please…” However, the purring, petting and licking Shalimar took to in times like these…it was enough to get him hard again; the fourth time in the hour. According to Adam it had something to do with the pheromones the both of them excreted. Brennan really didn’t care.
“Gimme a sec.”
“Ok.” Somehow Shalimar managed to sound both chipper and lustful.
Brennan closed his eyes and tried to catch his breath.

Three hours later, Jesse was sitting in the living room with Emma, trying unsuccessfully to focus on the movie in front of them. It was nearly impossible with the moaning, groaning and shouting coming from Brennan’s room. Jesse leaned back and took a deep breath.
He could not spend one more minute listening to those two.
“Emma…!” He whined.
“Yes, Jesse?” She asked sweetly.
“How can you sit here and listen to this?” He sounded on the brink of tears.
“I ignore them.”
“How? They’re so…loud. No one can enjoy sex that much, not after the fifth or sixth time in an hour!”
“I don’t know…I think it all depends on the person you’re with.” The unmistakable purr in Emma’s voice made Jesse’s heart skip a beat.
“Really?” ‘Great comeback’ Jesse berated himself.
“Really. I think you just need someone to keep…up…with you.” Emma raised an eyebrow to emphasize her point.
“Em, I don’t think…”
“I know exactly what you think.”
“Um…”
“Why do you say we go make some noise of our own?” Emma stood fluidly and reached out her hand. After a moment Jesse took it, and followed her down the hall.
Jesse smiled. “I say that’s the best thing I’ve heard all week.”
