     June 2001-January 2004
     Web Engineer
While working for Austin Computers, I was part of a software development team, that created the following programs.  I created a program using Visual Basic  (VB), to solve trouble service requests and installation order requests, experienced by  a large telecommunication company. Acting as a Pseudo CLEC (Cooperative Local Exchange Carrier) for a telecommunications carrier, we developed a proprietary system that runs an order and pre-order testing, before the Public Service Commission testing in accordance with the 271 filing.

I developed a proprietary program, written in VB , called VehicleFile, a commercial website for vehicle maintenance. This included VehicleFile Mailer, a website add on, to access all VehicleFile files via email accounts from one or more locations.  I developed an additional add on, that allows the system to send users email reminders, when certain maintenance items are due for their vehicles.

I created and debugged websites with PageGenerator, a proprietary program, written in VB using ASP and JavaScript . This program created generic websites from a database, for the City of Yonkers.  I developed ReportGenerator, a program that dynamically creates reports using data in these databases.

Intelligent Search Technology, Ltd., Brewster, NY

    October 2000-February 2001
    Programmer
While working for Intelligent Search Technology, we were reverse engineering software. Using Borland's C++ , I was part of the development team that developed NameSearch.  A Search and Matching Software for Enterprise Systems. This program added intelligence to applications, requiring accurate name, address and other field, searching. This program successfully enabled organizations to retrieve and identify information from a variety of database fields regardless of variations.

This lead to EngeniumHR an intelligent search product designed to improve candidate search results for Human Resource applications. This then derived field meaning from resumes, by mapping relationships between words in a document. The program provided an almost human-like understanding of documents of any length, format or content to identify the best candidates faster.

I developed a VB  application used for the identification of duplicate records in a Microsoft SQL Server database table.  The VB application accepted log-on information, created connection strings, provided a table and database field definition dialogs.  This then interfaced with Intelligent Search Technology's NameSearch product, through API calls, to the NameSearch DLL. This project required extensive use and knowledge of ADO and DAO protocols in addition to comprehensive utilization of T-SQL.
