Moonlight Feelings

Have you ever had that dream

where moonlight burns so bright

and the ocean reflects it's lights,

a feeling that wants you to scream

and be brave so you'd win the fight?

Well, that's how I feel.

Loving all around me.

Grateful that all of this is real,

and not something I can only read.

A child inside me wants to grow.

A new beginning over my soul.

An alternate escape from death row.

Finally we can just go

to a place where feelings show

and pain is lower than low.
