Due to the growing civilian concern over the potential of psionic powers of destroying everything we hold dear, the top Psi agents of the WZISS have come together to create this report. We shall briefly describe the various scientifically-explained forms of psionics, and then evaluate its threat potential.
String-Based Psionics
String-based psionics is founded on the principles
of string theory. All particles and forms of energy are made of strings attached at
their ends to the membrane of the universe. Some strings intersect and bad together,
forming different particles and forms of energy. In string-based psionics, a psychic
has many more string connections than usual. These can either be powerful (a great
density of connections), have a long range (very long strings that connect to far-away
particle or energy strings) or both. Most psionic phenomenon can be explained this
way, especially the kinetic and "magical" types.

Telepathy, prognostication, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, etc.

Pandimensional Psyonics
In pandimensional psyonics, psychics actually tap
the power of alternate universes and dimensions for their abilities. The most
well-known examples are Psykers of the Warhammer 40,000 S/TS who use energy from the
warpspace Chaos S/TS to operate their powers. This mode of psionics can account for
all possible types of psionic phenomenon. Pandimensional psychics are common in
universes where the separation between universes is thin; but nominally nonexistant here.
PANDIMENSIONAL PSYONIC CAPABILITIES:
Telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, prognostication, summoning,
etc.
RANGE OF PANDIMENSIONAL PSYCHICS:
Any S/TS can have them, but those with weak pandimensional borders
are more likely to

"Force" Psionics
"Force" psionics relies on a universal
energy or "Force" that permeates everyone and everything. In the Star Wars
S/TS, that Force takes the form of midichlorians, tiny intelligent (?) organisms
that inhabit everything. The connection between psychic and Force instrumentality is
ethereal and poorly defined scientifically. Force psionics can account for most
kinesis phenomenon as well as telepathy. "Force" psychics who leave their
S/TS and enter another where no Force exists loses their powers. Our Universe does
not have a Force, therefore Force psionics is impossible here. There is no chance of
contamination as a universal Force or lack thereof is part-and-parcel of that Universe; it
cannot be removed and so cannot be exported nor imported.

neurokinesis, prognostication

Limited to S/TS with a ethereal universal Force; Force users can only
use the Force of their home S/TS

Hyperspatial Psionics
Hyperspatial psionics is a little brother of
pandimensional psionics. Hyperspatial psychics, using biological hyperspace
transmitting and receiving capabilities not currently understood by science, send
instantaneous messages to each other. Hyperspatial psionics is only responsible for
telepathy. The Reavers operate on hyperspatial psionics through their Mind Parasite
and Aggregate Organ symbiotes. How monocellular eukaryotes (or any other organism,
for that matter) can transmit messages on hyperspatial wavelengths is unknown.
However, unlike other modes of psionics, hyperspatial psionics is easily jammed using
special broadband hyperspace transmitters that transmit "noise" and
"junk" throughout hyperspace. The downside to these "psychic
jammers" is that they also jam standard hyperspatial communications. Two
branches of research are now underway: the first hopes to capture a live Reaver Mind Queen
and observe her to determine what wavelengths are used; the second is creating a
pulse-jammer system that synchronizes jammer pulses with pulses of hyperspatial
communication to avoid conflict.

Theoretically, any S/TS related to a similar hyperspace.
