After much delay, we finally have a new host. And, since we still have
no idea why our lost host dropped us, I have promised to be good from now on. I will only tell uplifting stories
that will help benefit mankind so everybody can live in peace and harmony.
I know our new host will be reading this probably because they don't believe that I am now good. All I can say
is read on! You will be pleasantly surprised and joyful that you have given me a chance to help out the world!
I have given up gambling because it is so evil. I have found that I can get much more out of life by going to a
local church and praying and singing hymns. I have met new people that I now consider my family and they have assured
me that they will be there for me in case I decide to revert back to my old, evil ways.
I did visit a casino for one last time. As I was playing on of those nasty slot machines, an old lady, confined
to a wheelchair, headed to the empty slot machine next to mine.
I moved the chair out of her way so she would have easy access to the machine. She asked me if I had a cigarette
and I happily gave her one because giving is so good.
We talked a bit as we played and I learned that she was going into the hospital to have surgery on her knee. She
told me that she could barely walk and could not drive her new car but, after the surgery was complete, she would
be as good as new.
We talked and played for a couple of hours. I learned so much from her and knew that I would be her age one day
and that I would also have fascinating tales to tell someone who was much younger than me. That's why I listened
and shared with her, because it is a good thing to do.
She dropped some money on the floor and tried to pick it up. Since she was in the wheelchair, it was kind of hard,
so I picked up the dollar coins for her and felt wonderful because I was helping out a fellow human being.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that we need to respect and listen to our elders because they have so much to
say and have so much to teach us. The next time you see someone who is older, take some time to talk with them.
It will make you, as well as them feel so much better!
COMING NEXT: How prayer
has saved me!!
Okay. Our new host probably got bored reading what I wrote above and left. Good. Now they can go and fuck themselves.
I actually did sit next to an old lady at the casino and I did help her when she dropped her money, but her eyes
were probably bad (because she was old) so I palmed half of whatever she dropped and came away a few bucks richer.
Was I bored by her surgery story? You bet. I could give a rat's ass if her legs needed to be hacked off in order
to graft them onto her arms for some sort of medical experiment. It makes no difference to me.
I was amazed that she could lift the chair and move it from the front of the slot machine. Her arms were as wide
as my middle finger, yet she moved the chair with no problem. Go figure.
I also know that the only thing you can learn from old people is that they like to bitch and moan and also love
to play their bingo. And you can learn a lot from that? Please.
Will I be old like them one day? Sure. And I expect to not be respected. That's something that's been passed down
by each generation, so there is no reason to stop it now. Besides, like typical old folks, I'll be living in my
own fantasy world so there really should be no reason why younger people would want to talk to me anyway.
