"I take back my vote. I have no problem with the cub staying." Everyone looked at Sharp Claw. Once he got an opinion he rarely changed it. Whisper snarled at him disdainfully.
"Just because it can send doesn't mean it's not dangerous! It could sneak up on us one day and stab us while we sleep!"
"He's not an "It"!" Skyfire said. "He acts just like an elf cub!"
"I agree. He couldn't sneak up on us and stab us. "He's just a cub. What could he do?" Dreambrook faced Whisper.
"And I can vote anyway I want, Whisper! If I want to change my vote, what's it to you?" Sharp Claw snarled.
"Are all your councils usually like this?" Skyfire whispered to Dreambrook. He shook his head. "Not all. Just when things get heated up."
"I have an idea." Seashell spoke up. "Why don't we let them stay for a little while and see how things go? It couldn't hurt anything." The tribe thought minute.
Finally Jen'l stood up. "I'm ready to try it."
Wolf Fang nodded. "Me too."
One by one the tribe voiced their agreement. Except for Whisper.
"I still say it's a bad idea."
Wolf Fang snarled at her. "Who gives a damn what you say now? The tribe decided." Whisper made a face at him.
Skyfire turned to Dreambrook. "I have to admit, your tribe is interesting." He nodded.
"I was rather surprised Seashell thought up the solution. She's not exactly the greenest leaf on the tree."
"What does that mean?"
"She's not to bright."
"Ah." They headed to camp.
