Information

Stephen's father died at a very early age. His mother has refused to comment on his father. The first memory Stephen has was when he was 3 years old and all he can remember is flames. His mother tells him that that is nonsense but Stephen is convinced that it is true. The next major thing to happen in Stephen's life was when he found out that he had the ability to withstand large amounts of pain. He was in his classroom and somebody knocked him and his arm became stuck in the desk and it broke although Stephen didn't realise this until the doctor looked at it and he realised it was broken. His mother didn't seem that surprised and Stephen remains convinced that his father had something to do with it. He was 10 years old and he was very excited at going on a ship for the first time. He had the time of his life but it was two years before he got to fly one on his own. At 12 his mother decided that he should learn to fly so she took him to the airfield. His first fight should only have been a flight to get him used to it, but instead he took the controls and flew it like he had been for years. The instructor declared that Stephen was the best flyer he had ever seen. Stephen continued the carry on flying throughout his childhood. He became better and better. So at 16 his mother got him his own ship. At this point Stephen realised that he wanted to leave home and join Starfleet. His mother agreed with him and he left him on his ship and arrived at San Francisco. He got a home and found a good school. He studied hard and became the top of his class in flight and engineering. He graduated the top of his class in flight and engineering and in the rest he got the usual. He then entered ST prep school, were he studied gravity and flight. After that he took a year off and learned his phaser and Jugutiu, he was a very fast learner and surprised all his teachers. He then enrolled in Starfleet Academy.

He graduated from the academy and was assigned to the USS Lancelot as Chief CONN Officer, which was a surprise as he was so young, but his ability made up for it. He continued to have a very successful tour on the Lancelot, gaining friends and respect from the crew. In 2378, things took a turn for the worst. Blair was assigned as Wing Commander. As weeks past he found he couldn’t handle the job. He started to take drugs as a way to relive stress. He became addicted. In the latter months of 2378, Stephen Blair was extracted from the Lancelot, with no word of warning. The excuse to the crew was that he had simply gone AWOL. Blair was taken to a tribunal and found guilty of drug abuse and was committed to the rehabilitation clinic in San Francisco. He was released and sent on indefinite leave.

He spent the next three years getting himself together. In 2379 he met his future wife. Just 3 months later they married. They went to Mars for their honeymoon and 5 hours after getting there a terrorist bomb blew the hotel they were staying in apart. Stephen and 13 other survivors clawed out of the wreckage, his wife didn’t. Blair got over it the only way he knew how, he went back to Starfleet. Instead of flying, he decided to join the Marine Corps. It was a spur of the moment decision and it turned out to be the right one. He went through the steps and graduated from his class. He was assigned to the USS Revolt were he quickly learned how to lead and fight with men. In 2383, he was offered a position back on the Lancelot. He almost didn’t accept, but in the end he chose to confront his old ship.
