Exhaust system.

Exhaust system is all home-made. 10 mm thick head plates bought from "Europa", primary pipes is di= xx mm and 3.2 mm thick, secondary pipes di = 60 mm and 1.5 mm thick. Perforated pipes, mineral and stainless wool from "Ferrita", all pipes visible from outside are stainless steel.

Trial fitting of drivers side, collector is very scientific made, see separate picture. Simultainously steering position was set.

Before assembly.

Black flexible joint allows engine twisting without too much movement on side pipes, which also is soft mounted with 2 rubber cushions.

Primary pipes are NOT symmetrical, pipes are drawn so that ignition sequense forms a circular pattern.

Rear bend was later cut for an not so awkward look.

Frame had to be re-routed on both sides.

Difference between shortest and longest primary pipe is approx. 50%, a good result in a very limited space.
