Fern Canyon Press presents

Bram Stoker's vampire classic

Dracula is 100 years old!

Not the vampire but the novel. Dracula was first published in 1897, making 1997 its 100th anniversary. To help celebrate, Fern Canyon has put the book online.

Yes, that's right. Now you can download the entire unabridged text of this great novel absolutely free! It's yours for the taking. You can download it now, or if you're short on disk space, you can come here and read it online whenever you want.

While this is the complete and unabridged novel as it was originally published, it is not complete as Bram Stoker originally wrote it. Before it was published, Stoker's publisher told him the novel was too long and asked him to shorten it a bit. Exactly what he cut out is uncertain, but one section that he deleted from the beginning of the book was later published as a short story called "Dracula's Guest". And you're in luck because we have the complete text of that online as well. We think it's one of the best parts of Dracula. Be sure to check it out and see what you think.

In the meantime, we hope you'll enjoy the original published version of Dracula.
