Introducing the rec.arts.sf.tv.babylon5 scorekeeping guide- the easy and
fun way to keep track of your score while reading and posting to this
newsgroup. BASE SCORES: If you're a regular viewer of r.a.s.t.b5 you start
with zero (0) base points. If you're the executive producer of Babylon 5
you start with two million, five hundred thousand (2,500,000) base points.
SCORE ADJUSTMENTS: +1 for each _substantive_ post about Babylon 5 +3 for
properly spoiler-protected arc speculation +15 for having posted arc
speculation which, in time, turns out to be correct +10 for posting a
thoughtful, objective and comprehensive review of a Babylon 5 episode +120
for maintaining a Babylon 5 FAQ list, or FTP site, or WWW site +5 for
posting a piece of humor related to Babylon 5 funny enough to get archived
on the Hyperion site -2 for posting a horrible Babylon 5-related pun +2
for posting a question to JMS and getting an answer +8 for posting a
question to JMS and getting a straight answer +15 for posting a question
to JMS and getting him to reveal valuable arc-related information -1 for a
spelling flame -5 for a general flame -30 for getting flamed by JMS -100
for each JMS post which explicitly, by name, calls you an
"asshole" +8 for posting a thoughtful, well-researched physics
or other scientific analysis based on something in Babylon 5 -8 for
posting a science nitpick when, in fact, Babylon 5 got the facts right -10
for crossposting to rec.arts.startrek.* -15 for posting any article
categorically condemning h*mosexuality without including any text having
anything at all to do with Babylon 5, or for following up to any such
article -100 for spamming +3 for having a Babylon 5 quote in your .sig
that nobody else has -1 for having a Babylon 5 quote in your .sig that
