While I find inspriation for customs in all corners of the Star Wars universe, the Droids and Ewoks comics and cartoons are a source I very, very rarely pull from. Besides being somewhat hard to get (though at the moment I only need Droids 5 and 8, Ewoks 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and Annual) they artwork isn't very accurate. The cartoon Ewoks, even with simple things as thier fur color, almost never corespond to thier live action counrterparts. Droids also suffers from the same sort of thing. In the last 3 Droids comics (now remember I'm talking about the Star Comics, not Dark Horse) they did a retelling of A New Hope with some special moments that only R2 and 3P0 were there for - like the race of imtelligent rats who live under Tatooine.... Yeah so the series wasn't exactly the best. Most of the main characters have some slight outfit changes (Obi-Wan has green robes for example) but no one is weirder than Tarkin. Other Imperials have recognizable versions of the normal uniform, but Tarkin has decided to sport a bright blue number with red accents. He also doesn't have any rank squares, but I kept those on. This one was just too weird to pass up :)
