Personality Traits:
The Romantic Side of Isaac: People say that Ike is the romantic member of the band, the kind who would dedicate songs to girls and stuff. He is also known to name his guitars after girls he liked and write love ballads. Awww!
Taylor says: "Ike's the romantic in the band, the artist....He's the kind of guy who knew he was going to get married in the third grade....Ike thinks about girls all the time."
Zac says: "Ike's a girl charmer. He'll always says nice things to girls. It's just a thing he does....Oh, and he's always talking about girls, like all the time!"
Ike says: "I like to write letters. Tay once threw a letter I wrote to girl into a fountain because he thought it was disgusting....I love the holidays..I turn into a big sentimental mush!"
The Big Brother: Ike, being the oldest of the Hanson brothers, is always watching out for his siblings. He has their safety and happiness in mind all of the time. What a great dad he's going to be!
Ike says: "I got in a fight once because a guy picked on Tay. He was a good friend, and he threw Taylor against a wall and made his nose bleed. I went really mad. He wasn't a good friend after that."
The Leader: Being the oldest also gave him strong leadership skills and a firm sense of self. He tends to be the backbone of the group...and always watches to make sure that the band is represented in the best possible way. He also acts as a mentor for the band--making sure that they keep to their rehearsing.
Taylor says: "He's the one who makes sure we all have our pitch pipes with us."
Zac says: "He's very technical--he knows how to do things and put stuff together....He loves playing on the computer and he's very technical. It's like, if you can't get something to work he'll be like, 'All you have to do it press START!'....Oh yep, Ike is always disappearing at home and you'll always find him downstairs in our studio writing songs or doing something musical."
The Goofball: Hey, we all get a little bit weird sometimes.
Zac says: "Anyway...he often comes off as the calmest and most sensible of us but that's not true, he's crazy! Erm...what else? Oh yeah, he does brilliant impressions and is always putting on dumb voices that crack us up."
Ike says: "Definately very goofy."
Miscellaneous Factoids:
He names his guitars after girls he liked. Well, we've heard of Keisha and Hannah.
He wrote the song "More Than Anything" while he lived in South America. All by himself, too. His first song "Rain Falling Down", (which is on Boomerang),was written when he was 8 years old. What talent!
He's got his driver's liscense. His dream car is a Corvette, but he'd settle for a while Jaguar. However, according to Jane magazine he is a terrible driver.
He loves his video camera. He says he'd be upset if he lost any of the film...especially the ever popular footage of Tay snoozing.
He has shared a bedroom with Taylor and Zac since...well since there was a Taylor and Zac. He sleeps in the top bunk, and is very cranky if you wake him up early.
He looks more like his mom than his dad.
In case you haven't noticed, his hair is naturally curly and he wears a silver ring on his middle finger. His favorite item of clothing is his brown leather jacket, although he is also quite partial to his wrap around sunglasses.
