Recurring guilty nightmares over his own survival and the deaths of his comrades in Somalia weaken and confuse Parker into delusional behavior during a dangerous Back-Step. Despite Olga's efforts to talk him through the crisis, Parker creates the hallucination of battle, and reenacts the bloody sequence of events while subconsciously attempting to fulfill the primary Back-Step mission.
