I think about you every day, Jimmy.

I'd like to see you more, but the bonehead Ramsey claims that it's a security risk to let me out of my cage too often, so I can only write you. Every night, I promise.

Boy, I wish I'd been around when you were born. I read somewhere that it's important for boys to bond with their dads when they're little--and I didn't need to be told. I know it. I never had a dad to look up to... not a biological one. I had a foster-dad, someone to kick me in the pants when I needed it.

I got dragged off to the corners of the Earth and ended up in a loony bin, although I'm not crazy. Not TOO crazy, anyway. But I missed out on a lot of your life. You don't know how much it means to me that you still missed me and wanted to see me when I wasn't there.

But you're luckier than I was, Jimmy. You got a mom and a dad, even if your mom is married to someone else now. And even if I'm not there as much as I'd like, I try. Maybe someday I can tell you what I'm doing here—I bet you'd love it.

I'll be down for Christmas, Jimmy! Got clearance from my superiors, so I'll be there before the tree goes up. Save a candy cane for your old man, okay?

Friendly punches,

Your Dad, Frank Parker
