Rumors of a breakup between what many consider to be the best Hip Hop/Rap group have been floating around for a long time, but yet and still, Bone Thugs N Harmony comes out on top. Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh, have put out mega-hit after mega-hit topping the charts like no other male rap group. Bone thugs N harmony has managed to remain the same as they were back in 1993, when they landed a record deal with Ruthless Records founder, Eazy E. Many groups tend to lean away from their roots as the years go by, but Bone proves to stay thuggish ruggish. In 1994, Bone thugs N harmony brought out their debut album, Creepin' On Tha Come Up, that was pushed into success by hit singles, "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "Foe Tha Love Of $" The groups CD quickly reached the No. 2 spot on the R&B chart and No. 12 on the pop. It was also certified as double platinum. In late 1995, the group brought fans its first full album, E. 1999 Eternal. E. 1999 Eternal achieved the unthinkable, and entered the Pop and R&B Album charts at No. 1 selling more than five million copies in the US alone. This album was led by singles: "1st Of Tha Month", "East 1999", and "Tha Crossroads." This double platinum smash held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for over eight weeks and seven weeks at No. 1 R&B. This single was so big that it tied the Beatles' 32-year-old record for the fastest-rising Hot 100 single (1964's "Can't Buy Me Love"). In the 1996 Grammy Awards, "Tha Crossroads" was voted Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. In August 1997, Bone thugs-n-harmony dropped their first double disc set, The Art Of War. This album was certified 4X-platinum. The Art Of War topped both the Pop and R&B Album charts. Bone-thugs scored a platinum single, "Look Into My Eyes" and a certified-gold follow-up, "If I Could Teach The World." Other Art Of War highlights included a remake of the Whodini classic "Friends," in which Bone-thugs paid tribute to those who have remained close and loyal to them; and "Family Tree" a remarkably personal account of the highs and lows in the life of each Bone member.

BTNHResurrection, the group's newest release displays an accomplished variety of Bone skills and styles. After solo albums by Bizzy Bone (Heaven'z Movie, 1998) and Krayzie Bone (Thug Mentality 1999), BTNH brought reknown rythm like never before. The leadoff single, "Resurrection (Paper, Paper)," is just that: a bouncy and free-spirited response to all Bone haters. Uplifting the masses while simultaneously urging fans to get that money. Another song from the CD, "Can't Give It Up" teaches sacrifice in order to reach goals. Fans of the mega Bone hit "Crossroads" will bounce their heads and grab their hearts to "Change The World." Lately the group has been focusing mainly on solo projects as its contract under Ruthless Records comes to an end. Bizzy and Layzie released their solo Albums in early 2001. Bizzy's album was called "The Wish" and Layzie's was called "L-Burna". krayzie Bone's album was released on August 28th and is called "Thug on Da' Line."

Bone Thugs N Harmony is a group that has been through some hard times, but they still manage to come out successful.
