Soybean insect pests are leaf destroyers, such as leaf rollers and leaf eaters. Larvae of these insects were collected from the field and reared in the laboratory to study their parasitoids. The study period was in the cultivation season during both the dry and rainy seasons in 8 Amphur in Changwat Chiang Mai

Soybean insect pests in the dry season were less common than in the rainy season. Hedylepta diemenalis is the most common species of leaf roller. The later leaf eater : Orgyia turbata . Spodoptera litura and Heliothis armigera are found less than the former. The parasitoid has more number species and amount in the dry season than the rainy season. Most of them were larval parasites. At least 19 species of parasitoids were found, most of which were parasites of H diemenalis. The parasitoids are in the Braconidae, only a few are in other families and the most common species was Apantheles sp..
