There are 8 levels of the decorations "The Crown of Thailand" as following ;

1. Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
2. Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
3. Knight Commander (Second Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
4. Commander (Third Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
5. Companion (Fourth Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
6. Member (Fifth Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
7. The Gold Medal (Sixth Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand
8. The Silver Medal (Seventh Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand

The pendant is golden, lotus-shaped, of 8 petals, 4 silver Vajiravudh Insignias alternating with 4 red enameled petals. In the center of the pendant there are the Royal Initials R.R.6, embossed with diamonds under the golden royal crown. On top there is a white umbrella of State with golden rays surmounting it. It is attached to a dark blue grosgrain ribbon of 10 centimeter width; on either side there are two red and white narrow stripes near the edges. The sash is worn from the left shoulder down to the right flank.

The Dara (Star) has four silver rays alternating with 4 golden lighting streaks. The middle of the Dara is like a medal. There are the Royal Initials on it embossed with diamonds. There is no white umbrella of state. It is to be attached to the left breast of the coat.

For ladies the pendant and the Dara are of smaller size. The sash is 7.5 centimeter wide.
