POWERS: Bobbi can turn her body to solid ice, lower the temperature in a certain radius around her, and create ice objects, including 'slides' to travel on and ice missiles, which she can shoot at the velocity of a bullet.
WEAPONS: Ice missiles.
HISTORY: Bobbi was the second mutant to be recruited by Charles Xavier. She was the youngest student at the Xavier Institute for a long while, and often felt out of place. Her mutant powers manifested for the first time when she and her friend were attacked by their school's resident gang, and she temporarily encased the leader in ice. Branded a freak by her classmates and her own family, Bobbi ran away and was eventually found by Xavier. Bubbly, vociferous and mischievous by nature, Bobbi often clashed with Sarah Summers, the mutant known as Cyclops. Finally, she felt that she was neither an accepted or needed part of the team, and left the mansion to finish her education. For a time, Bobbi attempted to live a normal life, but she soon found herself a member of the Champions of Los Angeles, a loosely knit group of heroes defending the city. Unwilling to push her powers to their full potential, Bobbi once again left her team and went to college to become an accountant. After college and a brief stint in the business world, Bobbi helped reorganize the Defenders as a favor to her old friend Beast. Bobbi was forced to stop slacking, however, with Loki, an Asgardian villain, caused her ice powers to begin growing at such a rate she was forced to wear an inhibitor. Once only able to make small objects and encase herself in ice, Bobbi could now cover the Empire State Building and create a scale likeness of the Titanic. She gained enough control over her powers to jettison the inhibitor, and believe that she had finally reached her full potential. Some months later, Hellfire Club matriarch Emma Frost, incapacitated in her own shattered body, took over Bobbi's mind and attempted to manipulate the young woman as her replacement body. While under Emma's control, Bobbi learned that she could transform her body to solid ice, rendering her virtually invulnerable. When Emma left her consciousness, Bobbi was one of the most powerful mutants on the planet and a formidable adversary - but there was no one left to fight. The world was largely at peace, and the X-Women disbanding. Bobbi once again went back to life in the public sector, a little wiser but still irrepressible. When the superpowered villain Atom began his attacks on the earth, Bobbi was the first X-Woman to return to the team, where she remains to this day.
