I was raised mostly by a family who were freight handlers, so I got to travel a lot as a child. One time when I was near Coruscant, at the customs checkpoint on Corus II, Jedi Master Kyp Durron stopped and told me that i would be found soon by a Jedi Master.
Later on that planet when we were getting ready to leave Master Ralika stopped us and had us incarcerated for attempting to smuggle. This was merely a ruse so that she could have the chance to offer me the chance to become a jedi. After a short conversation the customs officers discovered she was "wrong." When they discovered the true nature of their incarceration they decided to let me choose my destiny. They exchanged comm numbers and we parted while I thought about my possible futures. On the trip, while wandering around the freighter, I tripped over a crystal. I picked it up and, when i asked my parents what it was, they didn't know. Later in a comm conversation with Master Ralika she told me it was one of the crystals needed to construct a lightsaber. That's when I knew I was meant to be a Jedi Knight. Scince then I have been training in the ways of the Force in the hopes that I might join the New Republic Navy as an officer.
