Picturesque XI
I am afraid. I wish I didn’t have to be, but I am. I am afraid that our reaction to what happened September 11, 2001 will backfire upon us. Our government is planning their attacks, and I can’t help but wonder how things will turn out in the long, or even short, run. Will this turn into a World War III? Or maybe a Vietnam? Or maybe a combination of the two?
I can only pray that things are completed quickly, but, deep in my heart, I fear and know they will not.
I know some things, however. I will continue to have faith in our government, our military; perhaps it is my way to live in security where there is none or little. I will keep faith that we as a people will overcome this triumph.
