Creative Writing-Related Pieces

Come my Senior year in highschool, I was given a gift from God: Creative Writing, Period Four. I credit my survival of Senior Year to this class. Without it, you wouldn't have seen all the many Picturesques I have written.

So what better way to pay homage to this wonderful God-send of a class than by showcasing the works I've written for it specifically (Well, that, and I didn't have any Picturesques and/or GC's World stories ready to be uploaded and tweaked this week of 4/20//02, so . . .)?

First Euphoria: If the first few weeks of the Fall Semester, Estrin gave us an assignment, depicting a dramatic experience we had over the summer. This was mine.

"Untitled": This piece needs explaining. Before Fall Semester ended the teacher had a number of people read some of their Personal Project pieces to the class. As these people read the rest of us were required to write down anything and everything that came into our minds. This is known as stream-consciousness writing, I'm pretty sure. Afterwards the teacher had us convert these blurbs into a coherent peice. This is mine. I don't think I hit the nail on the head with this one, but the teacher still liked it, bwah-hah-hah.

An Ephiphany: After returning from Winter Break, Estrin gave us an assignment to depict one single emotion that we remembered feeling during the break. I don't think I accomplished that, at least in the exact terms she was looking for, but I got pretty dang close.
