The Best Technique for Gazing into a Crystal Ball

Crystal ball gazing or scrying, as it is also known can be successful with a little practice. It is best to use a crystal ball between 2 to 5 inches in diameter. This works best on nights when there is a full moon.

Some scryers use a bowl of water or other glassy surface, they have the same results as someone using a crystal ball.

Find a room that is quiet and darken it, use one or two candles to illuminate the area, being careful not cause any reflections in the crystal ball in your placement of the candles.

Set the ball on a stand or hold it in your hands, if a stand is used set it on a blue or black velvet cloth. You may burn incense if you want to.

As you are about to begin make sure that you are centered and have a wish that you want to find out about thought out in your mind. A word of warning always be careful what you wish for.

Now begin gaze into the ball without staring. Try not to blink your eyes too much as you gaze. Slowly breathe deeply in and out as you continue to relax and gaze. At first you will simply feel at peace and a sense of limitless time. Be sure to go with this feeling but try and limit yourself to a few minutes at first, the time can be increased at each succeeding session. Many people report getting a vision on their first attempt at gazing, some take more sessions to get a vision, just remember to do it at your own pace.

After a few sessions you will notice a small glow that resembles clouds begin to form in the center of the crystal ball.  This is the area that the visions usually form in. The visions may come in many forms, from clouds, to symbols to places or people. Another form of vision is colored clouds each color has a special meaning.

Clouds that are gold in color symbolize that wealth or a new romance is coming into your life. Blue clouds symbolize that you will be successful in what you attempt to do whether it's a career or business opportunity or something else that you wish for. While on the other hand clouds that are dark in nature, gray, red or black can symbolize an ill fortune or some very bad luck or danger coming your way. On the other hand if the cloud is green or white there is good health, happiness and good fortune coming your way.

Orange clouds symbolize a hidden anger or resentment in your life, and yellow clouds symbolize obstacles that are coming up in your life to get in your way. If the clouds in your crystal ball are silver the times ahead will be troubling for you but will soon be followed by good times.
