The Ancient Druid Sacrifice

Margaret contacted us this past advent season with a problem that she was having from spirits that she felt she had picked up on her trips to Ireland. During a prayer service at her church she had begun manifesting by talking in an Irish accent. The pastor had been shocked and really did not know what to make of it and had politely asked Margaret not to attend any more services at his church.

Fearing that there was possibly something spiritually wrong with her she made a search over the Internet and found the Aware Foundation. She contacted us and we traveled to her home in New Hampshire to interview her and to pray with her.

Margaret told us that she had traveled extensively to Ireland, visiting many of the ancient ruins of the Emerald Isle. Many of the sites that she visited were once Druid worship sites, she had found these the most interesting to her.

Other than talking in an Irish accent she seemed to have no other problems associated with her visiting these sites. We decided to pray over her and to see if this would help her.

As Larry began to pray, Margaret began to move in her chair and soon was exhibiting the classic signs of the presence of a spirit. Suddenly an Irish voice came out of Margaret, at first it was single words, but quickly as the spirit took over it began to form a picture of what was going on. The spirit told of many sacrifices to the Druid gods and one sacrifice in particular where a young baby had been killed in honor to a god. Margaret began to cry and told us in her own voice that when she was in her early twenties she had found herself pregnant and alone and had gotten an abortion.

She was sorry and felt that possibly she had made the decision after she had returned from a trip to Ireland to one of the Druid sites. She felt that if she had not have gone there that possibly she would have had the child and not have killed it.

After this confession and some more prayers Margaret believed that the spirit had left her. Since our visit she reports that there have been no more problems with spirits in her life. She is busy working with unwed mothers in an attempt to help them find an alternative to abortion.
