Rocky’s story with Bisho-mon!

 

            Okay, if you haven’t read Hama’s long intro about the Bishomon/Bishojo universe, I suggest you go and find it somewhere and read it.  Personally I’m too lazy to re-type all that.  This is a compatible story with Hama’s, but it can only go to a certain point.  Cuz I can’t get ahead of her story, if I did then they wouldn’t be compatible stories.  Got it?  Okay!  Story!!

 

Pocky Part

 

An exuberant little blonde girl chases an equally young stray puppy through a thick forest. Normally she would be warned away from the place because of the wild bishomon known to live there, but she's just broken away from her mom's watchful care for a minute or two to chase a cute little animal. Her violet eyes twinkle as she dodges trees and more trees, and then suddenly there are no more trees at all. She has broken out of the brush onto the side of a quiet road, the puppy leading the way. A car, speeding for the sheer joy empty road, whizzes by only a few feet in front of her, right over the small dog she was chasing before.

 

 All of a sudden everything has stopped; the only sound is that of the car racing away.

 

Pocky: Ah...mph...Ma...wa... *bursts into tears* She doesn't even notice when, with a rustle of the bushes, a wild SD Duo pops out of the bushes.

 

Wild Duo: *takes a look at the scene* Du... (Wa.../Whoa...)

 

Duo ambles on over to the middle of the road. The dog is perfectly still; there is little blood spilled, but it will probably not ever get up and be chased by a little girl ever again. Duo looks back and forth between the girl, still crying, and the puppy. Finally, he reaches out to the little body, barely having to kneel for his tiny height, and touches it, his eyes closed. A small, bright cloud rises out of the body and disappears no more than a foot above where it originated. Duo withdraws his hand and stands still for a moment, his eyes still closed and his head bowed. A long moment passes before he realizes that the girl has stopped crying completely and is instead staring at him with a look of astonishment on her face.

 

Duo: *turns and looks at her, noticing that she's staring at him* Du! O...Du...Duo... (A! E...a...ano.../Oh! Um...um, uh...) *looks a bit embarrassed*

 

Pocky: What...what'd you do? Can you...fix him?

 

Duo: Duodu... (Sorewa.../Well...) *looks down a bit, his eyes hidden under the bill of his hat* Du-o...

 

Pocky: Can't...you...*breaks down crying again*

 

Duo: Duu... (Nee.../Hey...) *walks over to stand in front of Pocky*

 

He watches her crying for a moment, and then wraps his little arms around her shoulders as best as he can while she continues to cry.

 

(a little while later)

 

Pocky: *busts out of the woods into her backyard* I'm hooome! *beams happily*

 

Pocky's Mom: Pocky! There you are! What were you doing in the forest? You know there's wild bishomon in there!

 

Pocky: Um...yeah...I know that, but...um...

 

Duo: *pokes his head out from behind Pocky*

 

Mom: Oh! Is that a wild bishomon?

 

Duo: Duo? (Nani?/What?)

 

Pocky: Um...yeah...no...I mean, um, he followed me home, because, um...

 

Mom: Well...I guess that's OK, as long as he's not attacking anybody.

 

Pocky: He won't!

 

Duo: Duuo! (Sou yo!/Yeah!)

 

Pocky: YAY! OK, Duo, meet my Mommy! Mommy, this is Duo!

 

Duo: *steps out from behind Pocky* Duoduduo-o! (Hajimemashite!/Nice ta meetcha!)

 

Mom: *squeals* Oh! You're so cute! *squishes Duo into a big hug*

 

Duo: Duu... *sweatdrop*

 

Mom: *puts Duo down and stands up again* Well, I'll just be on the porch then. You guys can go on and play in the yard, but don't go into the forest again, OK?

 

Pocky: Okaaaaaaaay! Duo: Duuuuuo! (Haaaai!/Okaaaay!)

 

 

In a small town in one of the non-bishomon areas of the bishomon side of the world, a little girl is given her first bishomon in its bishoball on her fifth birthday.  She is very excited and her mostly red somewhat brown hair seemed more red than usual.

 

Little girl: *smiles happily* Wow!  Mommy, what it is?

 

Mom: *looking very proud* It’s your first bishomon Rocky (actually her name is Robin, but her nickname is Rocky, and don’t ask).  His name is Heero <<from Gundam Wing>>.

 

Rocky: *looking at her mother questioningly* Heewo?

 

Mom: No, not Heewo, Heero.  Now say it . . .

 

Rocky: *concentrating* He, Heero!

 

Whole Family: Yay!  Good girl Rocky!

 

Rocky: Where Heero?

 

Mom: *talking how adults talk to small children* He’s inside the ball Rocky.

 

Rocky: *shaking the ball* How get owt?

 

Mom: No Rocky, don’t shake the ball, it’s not nice to Heero.  Now come over here.  *picking Rocky up and bringing her outside*  Now throw it and shout—

 

Rocky: Cum owt Heero?

 

Mom: Yes, that’s what you say!  *hugging Rocky*  Good girl, now throw it and shout that.

 

Rocky: *throwing the ball*  Cum owt Heero!!

 

Upon the rather loudly shouted command the bishoball opens and a SD Heero comes out.  Rocky is very surprised and so is the Heero.  They stare at each other for a few seconds.

 

Heero: *shouts happily*  Heero!

 

Rocky: Ha ha ha!  Wook Mommy!  There Heero!

 

Rocky and Heero hug each other and start playing tag in the grass.

 

Mom: Rocky . . .

 

Rocky: *looks up innocently*  Wha?

 

Mom: Now you have to learn how to make Heero fight.

 

Rocky: Fite?  What fite?  Rocky no like fite!

 

Heero: He ro ero hee!  (It’s okay, I already know how!)  *takes out his energy sword and starts fencing in the air*

 

Mom: Why that’s so nice Heero.  Heero’s generally do know how to fight on their own.  Now you don’t really have to tell Heero what to do, he’ll learn how to fight by himself.  You need to fight to get other Bishomon.

 

Heero: *puffing with pride and holding up his sword*  Ero he!

 

Rocky: Eeee!  Heero fite for Rocky?

 

Heero: He!  *bows*

 

Rocky: *flattered*  Tank yew Heero!  *she hugs him*

 

Mom: Now come on everyone!  Let’s celebrate!

 

A Little Over Ten Years Later

 

Rocky is now about a few weeks away from being sixteen.  She has grown up with Heero, and now they are very good friends.  But the time has come for them to go into the wilds and really start to train.

 

Rocky: Bye Mom!  I’ll be back next summer!

 

Mom: Bye Rocky, good luck, and stay safe!

 

Rocky: I will!

 

Rocky turned around and started walking.  She had a back-pack, a map, a small knife, Heero in his bishoball hanging from her belt, and a bunch of empty bishoballs.  She found a good walking stick and pulled out her map.

 

Rocky: Hmm, where to go . . . I need easy bishomon first for Heero to fight . . . *staring closely at the map*  Got it!  I’m walking into Recca <<from Flame of Recca>> country.  The SD Reccas should be good for Heero to fight.  Okay, just have to find a wild one . . .

 

Rocky had only walked ten feet down the path when a wild SD Recca jumped out in front of her.

 

Rocky: *throwing her bishoball*  Get ‘em Heero!

 

Heero comes out looking very puffy and egotistical.  He struts around happily until the Recca gets over his awe and hits Heero with a fireball.

 

Heero: *sitting on his rear end looking disgruntled*  RO!!  *pulls out his gun and shoots the Recca, it dies*

 

Rocky: Heero!  You killed it!

 

Heero: Ro, heero ero ro!  (Well, he deserved it!)

 

Rocky: Yes I know he did, but you’re not gonna get any stronger if you keep shooting everything.  *raising her eyebrows*

 

Heero: *looks down at the ground* Ero . . . (sorry . . .)

 

Rocky: It’s okay Heero.  *picks him up and hugs him*  You’ll learn, that’s all.  Now put the gun away and let’s find another one.  *puts him down*  And this time, use your sword.

 

They walk on for a little while until Heero sees two wild Reccas fighting.  Heero pulls out his sword and sneaks up behind the closer one.  The other Recca sees Heero and shoots a fireball at him.  Heero falls down, but then gets back up.  Now both the Reccas are facing Heero.  One of them shoots another fireball, but to its dismay Heero deflects it with his sword.  Now both Reccas shoot fireballs at Heero.  Heero jumps in the air to avoid them, then lands on one of the Reccas while chopping the other one in two.  The other Recca gets up and runs away.

 

[This next part is intended to go right after the part Rocky wrote...I think I screwed up and put this after Pocky meets Hama, and Rocky put it before because she didn't want to screw up any stories. I only changed it because this can happen any time after we split up with Hama, so nothing gets screw up except that one detail ^^* OK, read on!]

 

Some years later, the same little girl treks through a different forest with Duo still right next to her. Both of them have gotten a decent amount bigger: Pocky is teenage-sized, petite for a sixteen-year-old, and Duo's head now reaches up to her shoulder. They're in Rekka territory this time, but instead of Rekka they're looking for Tokiya and Kaoru.

 

Pocky: But we can't find any... *droops*

 

Duo: *suddenly breaks his pace to run ahead a bit* Hey! What that?

 

Pocky: Ack! Don't leave me behind! The Mokuren're gonna come and get me...

 

He's found something on the ground; as Pocky follows after him, she finds that it's the corpse of a Rekka with a neat bullet hole in its left chest.

 

Duo: Whoa...who do that?

 

Pocky: Holy crap!...poor thing...

 

Duo continues to run ahead, apparently hot on the trail of something worth seeing. He finally stops abruptly in time to watch as the Heero easily defeats two Rekka, scaring one off by slicing the other in half. He and Pocky both stop where they are to gawk at the fight---well, Pocky has stopped after nearly tripping over Duo, but Duo heads straight for the Heero, having correctly deduced that Heero was the one that shot the previous Rekka. There is a loud buzzing, crashing noise as Duo's energy scythe suddenly collides with Heero's sword. Heero is apparently rather strong for an SD, and is holding his own against Duo. However, Duo is the rougher of the two at the moment, and one of his vicious slashes finally sends Heero flying. Duo begins to make a running start at Heero for the kill when suddenly...

 

Pocky: DUO! Stop that right now! That's not a wild Heero!

 

Duo is distracted for only a moment, but it's long enough to cause him to trip and land flat out on top of Heero. Pocky begins to run over to where Duo and Heero are lying on the ground, but is stopped by another girl.

 

Pocky: *turns around to look at the other girl* Hey, what's the deal?

 

Rocky: It's OK. My name is Rocky, and I'm Heero's trainer...owner...well, whatever I am, Heero's with me.

 

Pocky: Oh! You're...ack! I'm so sorry!! Duo just turned AD and he's been really violent and stuff...he's not really this bad normally!

 

Rocky: I said, it's OK! Heero was excited from his last fight---he jumped out at you guys first, remember?

 

Pocky: Oh...well, yeah, that's true. We were just following this trail of Rekka remains and...Oh, I forgot! My name is Pocky, and we're out looking for Kaoru and Tokiya today...find any?

 

Rocky: We might have, but then again Heero's been having trouble doing anything but killing everything we find...speaking of which---what are you two still doing over there?

 

It's very quiet over where Heero and Duo are. Duo has sat up on the ground, and Heero has plunked himself down right in front of him. They're not really doing anything except sitting there staring intently into each other's eyes. They show little reaction to Rocky's calling, either---but Duo picks up Heero and sits him in his lap so that they can both look at their respective trainers.

 

Pocky: *blinkblink* Oh...kay. Are you guys friends now or something?

 

Heero and Duo: *nod in unison*

 

Rocky: Well, I guess that's OK...but Heero, you need to be fighting other Bishomon! How're you ever going to evolve?

 

Heero: Heero-ro...(Wakatteru.../I know...)

 

Rocky: Man, I wish we could get them to fight...we left home so we could train, but it's been slow.

 

Pocky: *turns to look at Duo* Well, I guess they could fight, if it's just to get Heero to evolve...

 

Duo and Heero abruptly tighten their mutual grip on each other.

 

Pocky: *sweatdrop* OK, well, maybe not...

 

Rocky: Aw, whatever...hey, you wanna team up or something?

 

Pocky: Team up? You mean like keep wandering around together?

 

Rocky: Why not? These two probably wouldn't mind too much *points to Heero and Duo, who are looking deep into each other's eyes again*.

 

Pocky: Good grief. Well, I suppose so. C'mon you guys, let's go find us Tokiya and Kaoru!

 

Duo and Heero both stand up, still holding onto each other. Pocky and Rocky sweatdrop at the sight. For some reason, the bishomon suddenly can't handle physical separation.

 

Pocky: Well...here we go!

 

After walking around for a while, Heero and Duo are now just holding hands.  Sometimes Duo would glance at Heero, and at the same time Heero would glance at Duo.  This would usually cause both of them to start giggling.  Pocky and Rocky have no idea what to think about the whole thing.  At first, it was cute, but now it’s starting to worry them.

 

Two SD Reccas jump out in front of them, followed by a SD Tokiya.

 

Rocky:  Hey Pocky!  *turning towards her*  There’s your Tokiya.  *looking back at Heero* Heero, fight the Reccas and let Duo fight the Tokiya!

 

Pocky:  Get the Tokiya Duo!

 

But instead of doing what their trainers told them, the bishomon do the exact opposite.  Duo jumps forward, knocking over one Recca and facing the other.  Duo knocks the other flat with an over-hand punch.  They both immediately get up and run off.  Rocky and Pocky shout vainly to get their bishomon to do what they said, but neither of them seem to be listening.  Heero draws his energy blade and advances towards the Tokiya.  Duo, Pocky, and Rocky all stand and watch Heero.  The two bishomon’s blades crash against each other again and again, neither of them getting the advantage.

 

Rocky:  *happily* FINALLY!!  He’s actually fighting a bishomon . . .

 

The two combatants battle for a few long minutes, when the Heero gets a lucky shot and knocks away the Tokiya’s sword.  To his dismay, the hilt of the sword flies up and hit’s Duo in the head.  Duo falls down, and Pocky is right there next to him.

 

Pocky:  *very concerned, on the verge of getting upset*  DUO!  Are you okay?!  Wake up Duo!

 

Heero stands there for a moment, looking at Duo.  The Tokiya doesn’t dare move.  Then Heero turns around to face the Tokiya.  His face grows very serious, and he readies his energy blade again.  He sneers at the Tokiya, who is slowly backing away from him.

 

Pocky:  *getting Rocky’s attention*  Look at Heero!  I think he’s gonna evolve.

 

Rocky:  *confused*  Evolve?  This early?  Are you sure?

 

Pocky:  I’m sure!  This is exactly what Duo did before he evolved.

 

Rocky:  *looking at Pocky*  Well, I suggest you capture your Tokiya before Heero kills it.  *turning back to Heero*  Heero!  Stoppit!

 

Heero pays no attention to his trainer and prepares to cut the frightened Tokiya in half.  Pocky quickly throws a Bishoball and captures the Tokiya.  Heero looks very pleased with himself, more than he should look anyway.  He holds his energy sword in his hands in front of him, as if he was facing another Tokiya.

 

Rocky:  Heero, come-

 

In a brilliant flash of light, Heero evolves to AD form.

 

Rocky:  *stares in disbelief*  Heero?

 

Heero:  Rocky?

 

Rocky:  *picks up Heero and hugs him*  Heero!

 

Heero:  I win?

 

Rocky:  *putting Heero down*  Yep, you won.

 

Duo finally comes around and sits up.  He rubs his head while Pocky hugs him tightly.

 

Pocky:  Duo!  I’m so glad you’re okay!

 

Duo:  *looking questioningly at Heero*  Heero evolve?

 

Heero:  *puffing with pride*  Yup!

 

Duo:  *getting up*  Heero!  *starts walking towards him*

 

Heero:  Duo . . . *starts walking towards Heero*

 

The two meet in the middle and hug each other.  Rocky and Pocky both raise their eyebrows.  Now they don’t know what to think.

 

Pocky:  Uh, Duo . . . *sweatdrop*

 

Rocky:  Pocky, *turning towards her*  I think they actually LIKE like each other . . .

 

Pocky:  Good grief . . . *shakes her head in disbelief*

Heero and Duo are completely oblivious, though. They've finished their lengthy hug and are again holding hands, and looking into each other eyes. Both of them have a serious look on their respective faces, as if they're prepping themselves for something.

 

Heero: Duo...

 

Duo: Heero...

 

And then they kiss each other. And not just a quick little peck on the cheek for each---we're talking, if I may quote Katsu no Miko, a "spit-swapping-tongue-tangling-get-the-kids-away-from-this-fic-cause-they-are-way-too-young-to-be-seeing-this-and-by-the-way-go-get-us-a-room-while-you're-at-it-cause-this-is-gonna-get-very-very-hot-very-fast" kind of kiss.

 

Pocky: *jaw hits the ground* DUO?!

 

Rocky: *equally surprised* HEERO!

 

Pocky: What...are...they...? are they...kissing?

 

Rocky: Ew...they're not kissing anymore, they're on the ground and---OK, I'm not looking at that!

 

Pocky: How'd they even know how to---yeah, maybe I shouldn't look, either...

 

Pocky and Rocky: *sigh*

 

There is little other noise except for the sound of Heero and Duo make out feverishly while their trainers try not to look.

 

Rocky: Well, you know, I guess we've learned something from this...

 

Pocky: Wazzat? That they have all the working parts, and they work very well indeed? *glances back at Heero and Duo* Hoo boy...

 

Rocky: Well, yeah. That, and...AD Bishomon are really hormonal.

 

Pocky: You mean, horny? *takes another quick glance* Yikes...

 

Rocky: *sweatdrop* I guess you could call it that...
