Back Story: Lucid doesn't have much of a back story. He's just one of the Morlocks, recruited into the fold sometime in the past (due to his really freaky appearance, no doubt).
Personality: Lucid only had a couple of lines in the series, so he didn't have much of a personality fleshed out. He's a pretty loyal Morlock, and tends to be in charge of the "stealth" portions of their operations, given that he can see into buildings and pick out which room is the one that they need to target. Despite his rather cartoonish appearance, he's a pretty serious character, which was something I really didn't expect...
Final Reflections: I really would've liked to see more of the X-Men: Evolution-only Morlocks- namely, Lucid, the small girl Torpid, and the oriental guy, Facade. All seemed to have useful powers, and they really needed more fleshed out personalities. Heck, the latter two never even talked. Ah, what could've been... As for Lucid, though, I didn't really think his personality matched his appearance- he looked cartoony almost to the point of being goofy, but he's actually just your average depressed Morlock... hrmm....
