Easily one of the most dangerous women in the world, she is known as Tess to only a few close friends. The rest of the world knows her as Arsenic.
Despite repeated offers to join the mysterious network of female assassins called The Sisterhood, she prefers to work as an independent agent. But she's not above stealing assignments from other assassins. This has lead to some seriously bad blood between her and many rivals, such as Onyx.
Desperate to make some money to pay for her sister's heart transplant, she took a job that brought her into conflict with the young group of super-heroes known as The Adventurers.. She's currently at large, looking for new contracts to accept.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Despite her lack of superhuman abilities, Arsenic remains one of the most dangerous women in the world. She is an expert an unarmed hand-to-hand combat, able to quietly kill an opponent in seconds. Her acrobatic agility makes her a difficult person to catch.
She prefers not to use weapons on the job, but she does carry a pair of Glock 17 pistols. A gift from her sister, she's quite willing to shoot her way out of trouble if the need arises. In a world where super-heroes are becoming more commonplace every year, Arsenic finds herself relying on her weapons more and more.
Arsenic also keeps other various tools in her belt, such as smoke bombs, lock pick tools, throwing knives, as well as make-up and credit cards. For this merc, looking good and shopping are right up there will killing people on the to-do list.
ARSENIC is a recurring antagonist of THE ADVENTURERS. Although she briefly appears in the first paperback, she really brings the heat in THE SEASON OF UNCERTAINTY.
