Somewhere in the southern regions of Dominaria lies the continent Crithea, a proud, isolated realm. It was named for the wizard Critheus who unlocked the secrets of the five Magicks and became a powerful planeswalker. For centuries he watched over the continent in benevolence. He insured the prosperity of many noble kingdoms. But now Critheus is challenged by an evil wizard bent on becoming a planeswalker even more powerful than himself. This "Dark One" has amassed many legions of foul creatures and has pitted them against the goodly people of Crithea. Meanwhile trouble brews to the south as the orcs, goblins and ogres form a frightening alliance. Critheus’ hopes are coming apart at the seams!
