Prologue:
When the war started amongst the aliens and the humans, I had no doubt what so ever that the aliens would pretty much win. I mean if they had enough technology to travel through light years and end up on earth than they could probably blast the stupid human race into non exsistance. Nothing anybody with half a brain couldn't figure out. So when they invaded my town, which might I add was the first town to be invaded, I wasn't so fearful of them. In fact you could say I was happy that they were here.
When the ship landed my little niave self had walked out and greeted them. As they stepped off the ship, most of them were my size. And they were shiny and bright. Now I was seven and I wasn't stupid so I held out a hand. One of them smiled and instead gave me a hug. I hugged back of course. They were peaceful. When the shot rang through the air. I screamed. The one who had been hugging me rushed me inside the ship.
Taller, scarier aliens had run out and began balsting their superior powers. The alien I was with had passed out onto the floor and I had knelt beside it. I was crying and it died. Right there it died, pretty much in my seven year old hands. The others had come and stood and watched me cry. They knew I meant them no harm. I know they did. So when a taller alien had come up to me, one of the smaller ones told him to put me back down. That I was good, pure on their side. The taller one had dropped me.
I stood and brushed myself off and held my head down. I can say that I was scared. I didn't quiet know what was happening. One of the aliens took me in it's arms. It cradled me. I'm very thankful for that. It brought me to a room. It signaled for me to lay down. It wanted me to rest. So I had gone and laid down. As soon as it left the room, I jumped up and looked out the window. I could see things. I could see bodies littering the ground, both human and alien. Among them, my mother and my father. I saw the gun in his hands. He had been trying to hurt the peaceful creatures.
I laid down after that, I laid down and I cried. I cried myself to sleep, I slept until one of the aliens had entered my room. It spoke to me in English. I remember it said that it programmed my language so it could communicate with me. I had asked it what it's name was. She said it was Zion. I told her her name was a very pretty name. She then explained to me that the alien that had died in my arms was her sister, Nebula, I felt horrid cause her sister was dead. She told me that they had just needed somewhere to stay and humans attacked, well except me.
She told me it was now war. She told me I had a choice. I could leave and go to the humans, probably be killed, or I could stay with them. I of course wanted to stay with them. Number one they were nice, number two if I didn't I probably would have to die or hurt them and I didn't want that. So she took me in kinda. They had the abbility to shape-shift to their surroundings after being in a certain place for so long.
All the aliens now looked human, except for a glow. Her human form was very pretty. In human years I guess you could say she was only 15 maybe 16. Still young also. But she took me in, she raised me to their customs. They took her away a couple weeks ago. She was needed in the hospital. She was needed to help both her kind and human. The aliens help both. The humans, yes are in captivity, they keep them in compounds once captured. They're treated well though. The only ones who die are the ones who get themselves killed or the ones who kill themselves.
I live in a compound with the elderly and lots of guards. I'm allowed to wonder to lots of places, in my compound, but that's it. I haven't been out of this compound since they brought me here. And it doesn't bother me, there's always new territory to track each day, it keeps me busy enough. Most of the aliens treat me with respect, I don't know why, but they do. I don't really fear them. They're quiet nice once you get to know them. And I do.
I'm not human. Your probably going of course you are. But I'm not. I refuse to even be compaired to humans. I'm not quiet sure what I am, but it isn't human. I haven't been human since that day the aliens came, 6 years ago. They aren't aliens. They're Zanitians. Peaceful creatures. I think they're great, if only everyone agreed with me huh?
