Busy Office-land

Parody of Winter Wonderland

I was inspired to write this one day because that particular day, in the office I work in every time you pick up paper work the phone rings. So, I wrote this:

Phones are ringing

Are you listening?

In the office,

Sweat is glistening

A horrible sight

We wouldn't invite

You to work in busy office-land

Gone away are the quiet times

Here to stay, are the busy ones

You answer the phones

And late you go home

Working in busy office-land

With all the papers we could build a Great Wall

And we run all around to catch the calls.

When we ask, is it Friday?

They say, No ma'am

But after 4:30 you can go on home.

Then next morning, we'll perspire

As we attempt to fix the dire.

To fix unafraid

The mistakes that we made

Working in the busy office-land
