Here is the list of commands for Amordian chat!
To do an action, type:
/action WHAT YOU WANT TO DO
To find out more info on someone, type:
/whois NAME OF THAT PERSON
To talk privately with someone, double click on their name. A small chat window will appear with your names in it. Only those listed will be there.
To send a sound, type:
/sound NOISE YOU WANT TO SEND. The sound will only be heard by others using the java client. Some common sounds are: bell, laugh, gong, moo, crash, flush, knock and whistle.
To change your name, type:
/nick YOUR NEW NAME
To leave the chat, type:
/quit
Otherwise, your name may stay active, even though your browser may have moved on to another scree. You will then be unable to use your name in another room, because it is still active.
Clicking on the small squares (colors and 4 numbers) changes how your chat appears. Double click them to make them stay that way, single click is only good for 1 message.
Your name is the one that appears in bold on the list. The Op has @ next to their name.
Hitting the "Float" button will create a small window, with only the chat box in it.
Registration of your name: Once you get to the screen you need to register on, leave the room setting ALONE! Type the name you want to use, and hit connect. After it connects you, you can set a password in the box below the chat window. Do NOT try to set a channel name of your own with a password unless you have it on your own website!
After it lets you register the name, type /quit in the text box, and you may then come use your name at the site here.
Having trouble? If your browser is not capable of displaying the Java, I do apologize. Some older versions of browsers may have this problem.
In order to join the chat, you must enter your name in the blank and hit connect.
It should connect in a matter of seconds.
