Jewelwings
You stumble into a cavern with a wide open entrance, showing a field, and beyond that, a forest. DragonSeer appears next to you.
"This is a cavern for my Jewelwings."
"Jewelwings?"
"Well, Jewelwing Fairy Dragonflys. But I call them Jewelwings for short. They live in meadows, gardens, and tropic forests, which is the type of forest you see out there. The love basking in the sunlight, as most dragons so, and they like being at tree top level. This cavern is basiclly for me to stay in when I come visit them. All my Jewelwings are cocoons right now, and usually an adult Jewelwing would watch over them. However, there isn't one, so this is my job for right now. Most Dragonflys live around half a century, and have a good humor, so are tolerant around humans. Also, sadly enough, they are very magical, so people come from everywhere to take the wings for powder or blood. They have huge power abilities, but I am going to make sure that doesn't happen to those I have. You may see them, but do not touch them unless they offer or you will live to regreat it. Being alive during the War between the dragons and the Dark Lord, I have become very adapt in the art of torture." Seeing you look, she comments, "Don't touch them, and you'll be fine. You could always go to Skyhaven and find your own."
You wander around for a little bit on a path that winds through the field. Laughter comes from behind you. You turn to look at DragonSeer.
"They are very good at hidding as adults and grubs." And she points to a green leaf you passed by. A little head peeks around from beneath the leaf. The jewelwing then moves out into the light to look at you curiously.

"This is White Quartz Ice Star. She's a female. As a grub you can tell because of ear fans on her head are pink."
"Pretty," you murmur, looking over her.
She turns and points to the branch of a small tree. Another jeweling rests on a branch, eyeing you suspiciously.
"He's a male because when he's a,grub, he has blue ear fans. He is the same age as Ice Star. His name is Violet Amethyst Gem Sparkle."
Dragon Seer motions to a little branch a small female sits there, gazing up at you.
"This is a female opal named Shiver Opal Crystal Song. There's a male over there behind her and the leaf. His name is Shatter Opal Gem Flare."
You move forward and gaze around the female to see the male who looks up at you, half suspiciously, half curiously.
You thank her for the information and head out.
"Would you like to see the Rubytree? Or perhaps go around that rock over there?"

"Here are pics of the jewelwings as grubs."

"And here as cocoons."

You return a long while later to see how the jewelwings are doing. It has been a long time, after all. Stepping into the light and darkness of the forest, you are again greeted by the two opal jewelwings. As they flutter around you curiously, the rays of the sun glint off their gemstone-like wings. Their wings make a faint humming noise and beyond that you can hear the gurgle of a stream. The female lands on a nearby branch and spreads her wings over it protectively.
"Let our visitor see, Shiver Opal Crystal Song" a voice says disapprovingly behind you. You turn to see DragonSeer staring with a midly amused, midly annoyed and agrivated expression at the jewelwing.
"Come on, little one. Let our visitor see," she says again. Shiver Opal Crystal Song reluctantly moves her wings as Shatter Opal Gem Flare alits on a branch above. On the branch you see a collection of four new jewelwing grubs.

"These are the new grubs, both types being quite new. The ones in front of you that seem to be quite interested in you are two rainbow jewelwings. They, as the other grubs behind them, have yet to be named. They're staying suspiciously quite and won't let me name them until they grow to adulthood. These two are male and female; again, you can tell the female from the pink earfans and the male from the blue. Behind them hiding in the shadow of Shiver Opal Crystal are two dark rainbow jewelwings. They, too, are quite new and quite extroadinary."

"I know they're not very big right now, but do please come back when they begin to mature. Thanks for coming!"
