So, you might want to know more about the mind behind the shrimp? Well, there are two minds actually. There's me, your friendly neighbourhood builder and ideas girl, and then there's the other, the secret persona, with her manic prodding and suggestions about content. I don't like using photos, so you'll have to make do with things that sort of represent me instead... Just read on and follow the links for extra madness.
I'm in my 30's, (pick a number and run with it) highly cynical, have a revenge streak that could make your toes curl, and like to write to stop my head clogging up with rubbish. I keep gerbils (6 right now), left school with qualifications to make an idiot hang their head in shame, and can just about sit on my brunette hair. Two parents, two sisters (so I have middle child issues) and green eyes with yellow streaks. Oh, I'm 5.7 and hate high heels, they should be banned and I never wear them thanks to a bad ankle injury 15 years ago that left me deciding flats were in. I also have a lovely scar from an operation... two, if I'm honest. One looks like I've had a cross drawn below my naval, I'm quite fond of that one.
My garden is a jungle of my own creation and I love growing massive ferns. There's a plant in my bedroom two feet high and 17 years old, it's called Bijou. |
What do I like? I like watching weird TV; I guess that means Sci-fi and fantasy (like Buffy- though I am a bit sick of her now), but everything seems to be getting cancelled these days and only cop shows and reality garbage comes along to replace it. I like Techno and trance music, but doubt my neighbours do. I taught myself to draw and it's not that great. I read Manga, which stemmed from an obsession with comic books and has spread to Anime. My latest loves are Fruits Basket and Wild Act- really, you should read them. I love strawberry flan (sponge, strawberries, cream) but can't eat it.
I hate things to be untidy, hate food allergies that stop me eating about five different food groups, dislike TV shows being cut for content because stupid schedulers don't know where best to put it, and hate that I never saw the last few episodes of Reboot. I dislike people who don't fight for the underdog. No matter my beliefs personally I try to give the opposite view in any argument, the day we stop questioning is the day we may as well roll over and give up. I hate that if you really knew me you probably wouldn't like me, I'm just too darn grumpy. I also have a problem with correct punctuation. It's commas, they trouble me with their placing, I need to take a course or something. I own Chakram earrings! So, that's some about moi. Queen of the Universe and the Crustacean Nation.
