This is the not-so-official website for Fort Dorchester's Acting troupe called the Patriot Players. You obviously either found this site by accident, clicked on a wrong link at Google, knew the webmaster of this site, have a passion for drama, or know the people in the troupe and wanted to see the site. Either way, it's truly cool.
We had currently finished up Commedia Del 'Arte, a type of Italian improvisation requiring no script whatsoever! We performed our zany half hour skit at Oakbrook middle school, trying to entice the eighth graders to join the drama department so that one day, they too can be up with our ranks. Or something like that. 
Before that we performed 1,000 cranes: a heart wrenching story about Sadako Sasaki and the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima (hee-row-she-mah)during WW II. Tashera played Sadako, Ryan Kenji, Sarah Grandmother, Erica Mother, Zach father, Fabiana Spirit/Dancer, Jennifer Spirit, Milton spirit, Tori Emperor, and I believe the rest of us were Chorus kids counting from one to one thousand and playing lots of instruments.
Now we are currently studying the Shakespearan tragedy Othello. The webmaster despretely wanted to be the villain Iago, but due to health problems Erica is instead. *Dramatic sigh*
