The Denver Nuggets clinched a playoff spot for the first time in nine years. The Rocky Mountain team was led by rookie sensation Carmelo Anthony. Their clinching victory came at the hands of the number 2 team in the Western Conference the Sacramento Kings the final score was 97-89. San Francisco Giants' slugger Barry Bonds passed his godfather Willy Mayes in the all-time Homerun list. Bonds hitted his 661st Homerun yesterday in a 4-2 win over the Millwaukke Brewers.
