Task Five

This is a task that will take three or four weeks to complete.

Electronic Project

This  is to be done as part of your normal lesson providing that there is a computer room available.

Aim: - To create an electronic project that you will show to the class in about four weeks time.  You have to choose a topic from the list below OR negotiate with your teacher a different area.

List:-

Gay Families / Family diversity / Divorce / The Dark side of the family / Dysfunctional families / Lone parenting / Family and Class / Division of Labour in the family home / Households.....

Method:-

Use any electronic program such as PowerPoint.   If you have the program at home you could E mail it back to and from College.  Create slides with content as below. 

Deadlines:-

You should complete this task by the end of January 2004.  We will have lesson time on Fridays [providing a room is available - if not we will split and use resources as available]

Content:-

Your project should contain the following types of content:-               

Introduction / Information / statistics / analysis / research / quotations / conclusions / sources.

Object of exercise:-

Is for you to deliver your chosen area as a  presentation to the class.  You may give out handouts as well.  [PowerPoint allows you to easily create these.  You will be given a grade A-E for content and level of understanding displayed.
