Q) You guys are based out Chicagoland. Do you travel for work?

A) Yes.

Q) Can I reuse my prosthetics?

A) Only so much as you take care of them.
Whether latex or foam, the life of the prosthetic depends on a few factors.
First of which is care. After it is carefully removed with remover and a brush,
the latex around the edges for blending needs to be carefully removed
so as not to tear the foam (if its foam. slip latex does not tear as easily).
Next the glue on the skin side of the appliance should be removed with adhesive remover.
Not all of it may come off, that's okay.
Then if its foam you can wash it with soap and water and squeeze it out real good.
Don't ring it. Just squeeze. Then let air dry. Latex just wash and dry.
You may need to repaint them.
With proper care a large piece should last you a number of years with proper care.
Smaller pieces tend to die quicker.

Q) What paints do you recommend for appliances and make up?

A) For general make up I recommend Wolfe Fx Hydrocolors if I'm not airbrushing or Wolfe Fx E-Flow airbrush make up.
Phenomenal coverage and usability.
For painting appliances I recommend Wolfe FX alcohol/hybrid base makeup.

Q) What's the difference between prototyping and development?

A) Simply stated, prototyping is creating the initial idea or concept in a physical manifestation.
A "one off" so to speak of a product, so you have something to show to potential buyers, investors, etc.
While development comes afterward and takes time.
Also, simply stated it is the process of taking the prototype
and coming up with a way to produce it at a price point attractive to the mass market.
