Lungs With TB
The respitory system is most affected by TB.When you take a deep breath, the little alveoli in your lungs fill with oxygen, and release it into the bloodstream. When you have TB, the "tubercle bacillus" send themselves into the alveoli in your lungs. Your alveoli will then fill up with either blood or mucus or both.
How TB Is Spread
This picture shows how TB is spread. A person with the disease breathes on you and you breathe in what they have breathed out, the little bacteria called "tubercle bacillus", therefore giving you TB.
