The Command Center is the Terran army's base building.  You can train SCVs here and order them to do whatever you need them to do.  Like most other Terran buildings, it has a unique ability to lift off of the ground.  On the Fastest Possible Map, however, this is not recommended unless absolutely necessary, because you will not be able to land back in between all of the minerals and gas.
