New DirectionYou've all recieved gold discs for One Step Closer selling over 250,000 copies. How does that feel?
Calvin: I can't believe it. We all recieved the awards on cd:uk and it was the most amazing feeling. I really hope it's the first of many more to come.
Aaron: It all seems like a dream. Thank you to everybody that bought One Step Closer. Our gold discs are as much for you as they are for us.
Jay: It's great because it acknowledges all the hard work we've done so far.
Where are your discs now?
Jay: I keep mine on my wall at home.
Calvin: My mum has taken mine back to Aberdeen to put it up in the living room for everyone to see when they come to the house.
Aaron: Mine's hangin' up in my house in Cornwall.
Describe a typical day in the recording studio for S Club Juniors...
Aaron: Well, we usually have a tutor with us for the day and when we're not recording we're being taught stuff.
Jay: It can take anything between 20 minutes to an hour to record a section of a song. It usually takes about two days to finish a song.
Calvin: It can be hard work but we often play games to keep ourselves amused.
Calvin, you've recorded a great song called Puppy Love. Have any of you experienced puppy love yet?
Jay: Maybe
Calvin: No!
Aaron: (Laughs) Yes, and that's all i'm saying!
Tell us about your next single New Direction?
Aaron: It's a fantastic song and i think a lot of people are going to be very surprised when they hear it. The dance routine is lots of fun, too!
Jay: It's a different sound for us and we're all very excited about it. All the Juniors loved it the first time we heard it.
Calvin: It's my favourite song so far and i know our fans are going to love it.
Got any last words for us, guys?
Calvin: Thanks for reading the magazine, everyone!
Aaron: There are lots of surprises coming your way.
Jay: Enjoy Automatic High and get ready for New Direction
