This web page is dedicated to our
Italian and Swedish American ancestors who
created our family history
and to our descendents who will
continue to write our family history.
Our ancestors came
to America from Eke,
Sweden and Rattvik, Sweden, as well as from Laurenzana,
Italy
and Colla, Switzerland. They came to America
between 1850 and 1910. They are the Ekegrens
(Petersons),
Ekdahls (Johannassons), Bjorklunds, Leafs (Elg),
Lusths, Schiavones and Moresis.
Our
family, today, is comprised of Yvonne (Leaf) and Dan
Schivone, and our daughter Dionne,
along with our son-in-law, Steve Genz, and their children, Sophia Mae
Genz,
born July 9, 1999 and Magnus Steven Genz, born July 19, 2002.
