INT. CURIOUS
MEADOWS HOTEL -
It was
pure black now in the main hotel room. All of a sudden, two hedgehog heads
popped out from the hall. They snuck up to the small desk, where the computer
screen was glowing. Mai was standing in front of it. Sonic and Sonia sat down
in front of the desk, backs against it. Robotnik’s voice came from the computer.
CAMERA ON
MAI AND COMPUTER
ROBOTNIK
Why are
you waking me up?
MAI
We’ve got
two important guests.
ROBOTNIK
Who are
they? And anyway, I just want three.
MAI
Oh? Well,
I guess you don’t want these two hedgehogs visiting.
ROBOTNIK
Did you
say…Hedgehogs?
MAI
Yep. One blue and speedy, another, pink.
ROBOTNIK
What
about a green one?
MAI
Nope. No
green hedgehogs.
ROBOTNIK
Ah well.
I’ll be coming tomorrow morning. Make sure they don’t leave.
CAMERA
COMES DOWN ON SONIC AND SONIA
Sonic and
Sonia looked at each other, in anger. When the computer turned off, the two
snuck back to their room. Once they got to their room, they began making a
plan.

MEADOWS HOTEL ROOM #12 - MORNING
CAMERA ON
SONIA’S BED
It’s all
still. Sonia sat up yawning. Then she slowly got up out of bed. She walked over
to the mirror.
ANGLE ON
SONIA (FROM BEHIND HER)
When she
looked in the mirror, Sonia got angry. She opened a drawer, and dug around. She
got angrier. She walked over to her bed, and sat down, arms folded.
From
behind her, Sonic started mumbling.
WIDE
CEILING SHOT OF SONIC
Sonic was
still asleep, mumbling stuff.
SONIC
(mumbling)
No. Don’t
take my dog Dingo… I paid… two-thousand… mobiums…
He
stopped mumbling still asleep.
ZOOM UP
TO SONIC’S EYES
Sonic,
asleep, got angry eyes. He moved head up and down.
CAMERA
LOOKS AT SONIA
Sonia was
looking at Sonic like he was some kind of weirdo (She still had an angry face
though).
CAMERA
GOES BACK TO SONIC’S CLOSED EYES
Sonic was
still moving his head. This time, he sounded as though he was struggling with
something. The camera zooms down to reveal him chewing on a pillow. He
continues this for a while. Then his eyes slowly start to open. He looks down
half asleep and sees him chewing on a pillow.
SONIC
Hey.
You’re not a chili dog. Ah well!
He starts
chewing again.
CAMERA ON
SONIA
Sonia’s
still in the “angry you’re a crazy weirdo look” and then sighs, throwing herself
down on to her bed.
SIDE VIEW
OF SONIA LYING DOWN
From the
other side of Sonia, Sonic sits up and looks at her, holding the pillow with
his teeth.
SONIC
(through closed teeth)
What’s
wrong sis?
SONIA
I had a
dream. It was about Manic and that girl. At the end, Manic was roboticized, then I woke up. And that spying really ruined my beauty
sleep. I almost have dark spots under my eyes.
SONIC
I had a
dream! Wanna know what it was about?
SONIA
Sure…
SONIC
I had a
dream that I was about to eat a giant chili dog, four dogs high, with extra
chili! The chili was stacked one foot high! Then… then…
Sonic got
sadder. Then he started crying.
SONIC
DINGO
STOLE IT!!!
SONIA
Oh…
whatever. Weirdo.

MEADOWS HOTEL MAIN ROOM - MORNING
WIDE
ANGLE ON FRONT DESK
Mai’s
sitting down at the desk. Sonic and Sonia walk over.
SONIA
We’re
checking out.
MAI
Oh. Really? Why don’t you stay for breakfast? Did I mention…
It’s chili dog day.
CLOSE UP
TO SONIC’S FACE
Sonic was
about to talk, when Sonia elbowed him.
ANGLE ON
SONIA
SONIA
Sorry.
We’ve got stuff to do. You know, make it up to Manic. Fix the van.
MAI
Well,
Manic is here. He’s probably about to come out of his room. And, we can fix the
van for ya.
SONIA
No! Really. We can wait outside for him. We can fix the van.
At that
moment the front door slammed open.
Everyone
looked over.
CAMERA ON
DOOR
Robotnik
was standing there. He walked over to the two hedgehogs. He then bent down to
them.
ANGLE ON
ROBOTNIK SONIC AND SONIA
ROBOTNIK
Well. If it isn’t the two royal brats.
He put
his hand on their medallions, and tugged. Pulling them off.
ROBOTNIK
Well.
Where?
SONIC
Where’s
what?
ROBOTNIK
Your brother.
SONIA
We don’t
know.
ROBOTNIK
Oh well.
Mai will tell me if she sees them, now. Won’t you, Mai?
MAI
Yes…
ROBOTNIK
Good
girl. Now, why don’t we—
Just
then, something hit him. He looked on the floor behind him, and saw a drumstick.
He then looked up at the hall, to see Manic. He then got angry, and looked at
Mai.
ANGLE ON
MANIC
MANIC
Let ‘em go. It’s true. I may be totally upset with ‘em. But they’re
family. Now, let them go.
ROBOTNIK
Well, you
see. There’s a problem with that.
MANIC
Problem?
ROBOTNIK
Yes. You
see, I need them. Or… here! Have them.
He shoved
Sonia and Sonic at Manic.
MANIC
What’re
you up to?
ROBOTNIK
Oh, not
much. Just that nice lady out there. She’s not much
for you guys to worry about!
ANGLE ON
ROBOTNIK
ROBOTNIK
(thinking)
Wait,
actually, I could get three out of one, and an extra! Yes! A special
robotization!
