After failed attempts to robotosize the triplets, Robotnik stole bodies from a graveyard and set them through the robotosizer. The five dead bodies reanimated to become zombies and they easily escaped Robotnik. Soon, he realizes that the gang he reanimated were of deadly theives and assassins. Meanwhile, a depressed Manic realizes that he has no super speed and no special powers, believing him to be the "useless" member of the triplets. So he decided to leave his siblings to be alone. The gang found Manic, alone in an alley, and they decided to add him as an extra member since he is a good thief himself. Manic was more than pleased to join. There is just one problem. The only way Manic can become a full member of the gang is... he must die!
