Feedback: 'Its Not Science!'
This is feedback from anonymous critic. Their words in italic, our
response in normal text.
Hey morons!
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
just thought id let yo8 know
that your website sucks!
Was there anything in specific, or were you just trying to make
yourself feel better about yourself by belittling others? While it is
true that there is little content at the moment, we are constantly
working on more, and whether it “sucks” or not is largely a matter of
opinion. One is tempted to comment that your sentence structure sucks
more than our website.
when are you morons just going
to get it through you’re thick heads that your beliefs aren’t
scientific?!
Firstly, ad hominem attacks are not appriciated and are a clear
violations of our feedback rules. Secondly, we do not claim that our
“beliefs” are scientific, merely that they have scientificly
explainable effects which can be demonstrated through the application
of science. Thirdly, neither creation or evolution are necessarily
scientific. They are both theories of history which use science as a
way of demonstrating what occured in the past (See: What is True Science?). Note what
dogmatic evolutionist Colin Patterson said about evolution:
“Is the theory of evolution by
natural selection proved? After so many pages of fact and argument,
some may be disconcerted by a negative answer, and to read that
certainty can no more be found in science than in any other way of
thought ... Taking the first part of the theory, that evolution has
occured, it says that the history of life is a single process of
species-splitting and progression. This process must be unique and
unrepeatable, like the history of England. This part of the theory is
therefore a historical theory, about unique events, and unique events
are, by definition, not part of science, for they are unrepeatable and
so not subject to test....evolutionary biologists can make no
predictions about the future evolution of any particular species, and
they cannot explain past evolution, but only produce interpretations,
or stories, about it,” (Patterson, Evolution, 1978, pg. 144, 145, 146).
You shouldnt try to push your
dogmatic religion on others,
One needs only point that you statement is self-contradicting. You
state that people should not push dogma on others, while forcing your
own dogma of not pushing dogma on us, thus violating your own premise.
its been proven wrong
anyway.
What evidence do you have to substanciate this bald assertion?
Your just scared of there bing
no god, your kind are very insecure.
Actually, I’m not scared at all, because even if there isn’t a God,
there is nothing we can do about it and we simply cease to exist. But
if I am right and there is a God, not following his commandments will
result in an eternity of torment in hell, so it is you who should be
scared. Many christians are insecure because they do not have the
answers to people’s criticisms and so become afraid that maybe they’re
wrong. They have no confidence. But when you get answers to skeptic’s
questions, it is a tremendous boost to the confidence of believers.
Just aceppt it, there is no
god!
No, there is. If you are correct and there is no God, then the
univserse has no design, no meaning, no way of making sense. Assuming
that that is true, then only that which can be tested and proved
through experiment and observation are the only things to be trusted,
but the logic you use to come to the conclusion that there is no God is
neither material or testable. It simply exists, we simply ‘know’ it to
be true. Therefore you must assume a designer God who revealed Himself
to us in order to use the logic you use to declare that there isn’t
one. I would like to thank you for conceeding the argument from the
get-go. ;-)
evolution is a fact, like
gravity, there are many evidence to prove this.
Firstly, evolution is not a fact ‘like gravity’ because gravity is a
process which we can observe completely in the present, from start to
finish. It requires no scientist to infer back into the aeons of time
in order to explain the rest of the process that isn’t occuring today,
as evolutionists must do. Secondly, did you have any specific evidences
in mind or were you simply bluffing?
Open youre minds!
One should be cautioned that many make the fatal mistake of opening
their minds up so far that their brains fall out of their heads.
